The dissatisfaction expressed in some quarters in Palestine with the appointment of Sir John Simpson to investigate land settlement and immigration is not shared in London circles of the Jewish Agency, says the “London Times.”

The paper points out that “there is complete confidence that an inquiry conducted by a man of Simpson’s wide administrative knowledge and experience in resettlement of populations will have favorable results with regard to the work of Jewish colonization in Palestine. The official leaders of the Jewish Agency will do all they can to facilitate Simpson’s work in the important mission which he has undertaken.”
