The situation of the Jews in a number of Ukrainian small towns has improved since the Jewish section of the Communist Party was liquidated. This was revealed today in the report of an investigator sent to Ukrainia by the Moscow Yiddish Communist daily, “Emes,” formerly the organ of the Jewish section of the party.

The investigator reported that every local soviet is directly doing its best for the Jewish under the jurisdiction because it feels a direct responsibility, something that was non-existent while the Jewish section of the party still functioned.
