Says Commons Would Oppose Giving Up of Mandate

The suggestion made yesterday by the Geneva correspondent that the British government might relinquish the Palestine Mandate to the League of Nations or to a group of states including the United States would excite the keenest opposition in the House, writes the political correspondent of the “Morning Post.” He points out that there is no probability that the government would agree to such a change.
