The suspicion that has gained ground here that the Arab commercial delegation from the Hedjaz which came here ostensibly to buy textiles for export has been engaged in the shipment of ammunition to the Near East via the Polish port of Guynia and Marseilles received confirmation when the French and English consuls here took precautions to examine the freight upon its arrival at Marseilles. Secrecy surrounds the activities of the Arab merchants who have instructed their agents to maintain silence regarding the contents of the freight.
