10,000 Turn out for Funeral of Abraham Podliszevski

Ten thousand people turned out here yesterday for the funeral of Abraham Podliszevski pioneer Zionist and Jewish communal worker, who died Wednesday. The funeral was attended by Zionist leaders, officials of the Jewish community and members of the Jewish Deputies Club.

Addresses were made by Prof. A. Schorr, Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum, Leon Lewite, Dr. J. Gottlieb and Dr. Noach Dawidsohn, all of whom praised the achievements for the Jewish people of Podliszevski. After the funeral the huge gathering sang Hatikvah.
