The Jewish colonists in the Krivorog and Cherson districts are suffering from an acute lack of flour and other foodstuffs. It is understood that the Soviet government will send immediately 3,000,000 pud (98,000 pounds) of flour to Nikopol and similar quantities to Krivorog and Cherson districts.

The government is also expected to supply the colonists in these regions with other foodstuffs that will suffice until the new crop, which in the Krivorog region is expected to be very good, exceeding even the good crops in other colonies.
