A letter signed by 110 Baltimoreans, including Catholic, Protestant and Jewish clergymen, has been sent by the Cardinal Gibbons Memorial Association, requesting admirers to underwrite the purchase of a portrait of the late prelate, the portrait to be presented to the city as a memorial to its first and only cardinal. Among those signing the letter are the Rev. Dr. Morris S. Lazaron, rabbi of the Madison Avenue Temple.
