Fritz S. Rachmann, German-Jewish film distributor who spent several years in America, is dead of heart disease at the age of 52. Mr. Rachmann, who was born and raised in Germany, went to New York in 1914, where for several years he staged wrestling tournaments and managed a German stock company. After the war he returned to Germany, where he became associated with the Ufa Film Company. In 1925 he became manager of the Ufa Palace, one of Berlin’s leading moving picture theatres.
