Morris Waldman, secretary of the American Jewish Committee, today conferred with Georg Tasca, Roumanian ambassador to Germany, and gave him a detailed description of the Jewish situation in Roumania with particular emphasis on the towns in which disturbances have taken place. The Roumanian envoy promised to forward to his government the memorandum that Mr. Waldman gave him.
Mr. Waldman has just arrived here from Geneva where he consulted with Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the American Jewish Committee, regarding the Jewish situation in Roumania where Mr. Waldman made a first hand examination of the towns and cities affected by the anti-Jewish outbreaks.
