A protest on behalf of French Jewry against the acts of intolerance and hatred occurring in Palestine against the Jews has been made, by the Consistoire, according to a report by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. The Consistoire also voices the hope that the Mandatory Power will be able to ensure the Palestine Jews peace and transquility.

The Consistoire also points out the distressing situation of the small Jewish communities in France which are unable to maintain rabbis. Out of 42 small Jewish communities which maintained rabbis in 1914 only 28 were able to maintain them in 1929, according to the report.
