As a result of the Palestine government’s failures to take any action on the offer of the Jewish Agency to share in the cost of fighting the plague of field rats in the Emek, where much damage was done to crops by the pests, the Jewish Agency today sent two agricultural experts to aid in fighting the field rats. The Jewish Agency recently appropriated $50,000 for the relief of the Jewish settlements affected by the plague.
