Of the seven Jewish candidates from Los Angeles city and country for various offices in the primaries, two assembly seats were won.

Harry Lyons, who has been the only Jewish assemblyman from Southern California for the past six or eight years will now have a companion in legislation in Milton M. Golden, a young attorney prominently known in motion picture circles.
