Orange, N. J. (Sep. 6)
A new all-Jewish city is being planned south of Jaffa, Palestine, according to information reaching Samuel Friedlander of this city, who heads the Eretz Israel Land Agency in New York. Mr. Friedlander declared that from present plans the new municipality’s growth will parallel that of Tel Aviv, at the present the only all-Jewish city in the world.
Mr. Friedlander made this statement in connection with an announcement that nineteen more purchasers of land in “Nathanyah,” the citrus colony which is being established in Palestine in honor of Nathan Straus, distinguished philanthropist, have received deeds. The property of these purchasers, he declared, is valued collectively at more than $175,000.
