An honorary membership in the Wuerzberg Geographical Society was conferred upon Dr. Franz Boas, famous Jewish professor of anthropology at Columbia University, at the concluding session of the Americanist Congress here. Dr. Boas who is 72, is one of the world’s most eminent anthropologists and a member of the leading scientific societies of the world.
