Praise for the “proud and courageous” action of Chaim Weizmann, Felix M. Warburg, and Lord Melchett in resigning from the cooperation with Great Britain was embodied in a resolution of solidarity with them adopted by the Polish section of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, whose members were in conference here today.
The resolution protested vigorously against the arbitrary action of Great Britain, while the members pledged themselves to continued activity for Palestine.
The Zionist leader Isaac Gruenbaum is ill, and may be unable to attend the coming meeting of the Jewish Agency.
