Sidney M. Ehrman, San Francisco banker and a leader in civic and Jewish affairs, has been honored with an appointment by Governor C. C. Young to a place on the board of regents of the University of California. He will serve a term of 16 years.
Mr. Ehrman has played an active part in financing the musical studies of Yehudi Menuhin, the boy violinist, whom he took as a protege several years ago when the lad first showed unusual talent.
