Further reports of protest meetings held last Sunday by American Jewish communities against the new British policy in Palestine have been received by the Jewish Daily Bulletin from Minneapolis, Albany and Haverhill, Mass.

Twelve hundred Minneapolis Jews crowded the Beth-El Synagogue for the protest meeting, at which Governor Christianson of Minnesota spoke. Other speakers were Rabbi David Aronson and Gustavus Loewinger of St. Paul. Amos Deinard, Minneapolis Zionist leader, presided. The resolution of protest was drawn up by a committee consisting of Dr. M. L. Lefkovits, chairman; Dr. Moses Rahn, Rabbi S. Levin, Rabbi Albert Gordon and Rabbi Albert G. Minda. The meeting, sponsored by the Minneapolis Zionist District, was attended by representatives of the Jewish organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

In Albany, New York, the protest meeting held at the Jewish Community Center last Sunday was declared to be the greatest Jewish meeting held in that city in many years. More than eight hundred people filled the auditorium. The meeting took place under the auspices of the Albany committee of the American Jewish Congress. Rabbi Shepherd Z. Baum, Rabbi Bamberger and Dr. Applebaum of New York were the speakers. Samuel Caplan was chairman.

At the protest meeting held in Haverhill, Mass., last Sunday, 300 Jews of that city heard speakers of prominence, including Assistant U. S. District Attorney H. C. Thompson, former Attorney General Albert Hurwitz of Boston and others.

The communities of Lynn and Lawrence, Mass., are planning monster mass meetings on Sunday in protest of the British White Paper. Elaborate preparations are being made for one of the largest demonstrations ever held by these cities. Rabbi Wolf Gold of New York City will be the principal speaker at both meetings, together with Mrs. Archibald Silverman of Providence, R. I., Congressman William P. Connery of Lynn and other local leaders. The Lynn meeting will take place in the afternoon, and the Lawrence one in the evening.
