Samuel Barnet, Jewish attorney of New Bedford, Mass., has been named a special justice of the Third District Court of Bristol County by Governor Frank G. Allen. Judge Barnet has been active in Jewish communal work for many years. He has been president of the New Bedford Zionist District and chairman of the United Palestine Appeal in that city for many years.
