An American, Rabbi Jerome Mark, formerly of Selma, Alabama, today became the leader of the first Liberal Jewish congregation in Australia. Rabbi Mark had come to Australia at the behest of the World Union for Progressive Judaism. The new congregation was organized yesterday and Rabbi Mark named minister.
