After an all night sitting the conference of the Roumanian Zionists was concluded this morning with the triumph of the radical element, who undertook to form a Roumanian executive to be headed by Dr. Sami Stern, member of the council of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. Resolutions against the policy of the London Zionist Executive were adopted, and the coming Zionist Congress was asked to vote against Dr. Weizmann, resigned president of the World Zionist Organization.

Further resolutions taken by the Roumanian Zionists demand the introduction of a national policy in the Zionist Organization of Roumania.

The Radical announcements came after Adolf Bernhardt, head of the Centrist group, and a member of the Council of the Jewish Agency, had announced that he and his colleagues would refuse to accept any further function in the Zionist Executive of Roumania, because of the undisciplined attitude of the opposition groups, and the sabotage of the Zionist organization budget by them. Bernhardt remains head of the Jewish National Fund and the Keren Hayesod for Roumania.

The radical resolutions were made in a “secret” session after the retreat of the centrists.
