Strict measures must be taken by all police departments to preserve order, Professor Cadere, the General Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior impressed upon the police chiefs from all parts of Roumania, when he presided to-day over a special council of war of all the police chiefs summoned to discuss the most effective means of fighting against the disturbers of the peace.
