Dr. Ch. Weizmann will be received by a guard of honour of Jewish ex-servicemen when he arrives in Manchester on Saturday night to be the guest of honour at a luncheon to be given him in Manchester on Sunday by all the Zionist Societies in the Provinces.
On Sunday evening Dr. Weizmann will address a mass meeting at the Paramount Theatre on “The Position in Palestine”. Mr. Nathan Laski, the Chairman of the Palestine Committee of the Board of Jewish Deputies, will be in the chair, and the speakers will include Dr. Selig Brodetsky, member of the Jewish Agency Executive; Mr. Ben Tillet (Labour); Mr. P. M. Oliver (Labour), and Mr. E. B. Fielden (Conservative), members of Parliament representing Manchester constituencies.
On Monday Dr. Weizmann will be the guest of the Lord Mayor of Manchester at luncheon and afterwards at a reception, and the same evening he will return to London.
