Following an appeal for help for the victims of the floods which has been received from vilna by Mr. Ab. Cahan, the editorin-chief of the “Jewish daily Forwards” here, the Vilna Relief Committee, of which Mr. Cahan is treasurer, is calling a Conference for Tuesday of former residents of Vilna who are now living in the United States for the purpose of organising a relief campaign. The “Forwards” publishes to-day an appeal to its readers for help for the flood victims.
