While the Jewish market traders who were driven this week from their stalls in the market places of Mexico City are in a state of despair over their position, 5,000 Mexican market traders held a mass meeting to-day at which speakers delivered violent antisemitic speeches and demanded the deportation of the Jews from Mexico. The President of the Mexican Republic, Senor Pasoual Ortiz Rubio, was present at the meeting and applauded the speakers. One speaker urged the President to “gore the Jewish hearts with the Mexican flag”.
