Death’s Heads and Anti-jewish Inscriptions Painted on Signs over Jewish Shops in Vienna: Five Hitler

Jewish merchants and shopkeepers in the Wiener-Neustadt and in Lower Austrai are being subjected to insults and molestation by groups of antisemites. In the Babenbergerring district signs outside Jewish shops and businesses in the main streets have had death’s heads painted over them with inscriptions like “Dirty Jews”. “Perish Judea”.

The police have made enquiries and as a result five Hitlerists have been arrested. The investigations are being continued with a view to further arrests being made.
