King Carol and his sister, Queen Marie of Jugoslavia, with M. Argetoianu, the Roumanian Minister of Finance, have visited the Bucharest Jewish banker, M. Aristide Blanc, at his summer villa in the seaside resort village of Techirghiol. The party had been cruising in the Black Sea on the Warship “Constanza”and took the opportunity of landing at Techirghiol to see M. Blanc.

Their Majesties were full of admiration at the initiative shown by M. Blanc in transforming this Black Sea village into an up-to-date health resort. The King’s visit to M. Blanc has made a very big impression in political and financial circles in Bucharest.
