Thirty Months Strict Confinement for Circumcising Child: Medical Evidence Against Mohel Says Child D

After a trial lasting for twelve hours, a Mohel in the little town of Azoritch in White Russia, has been sentenced to thirty months strict prison confinement on the charge of having brought about the death of a Jewish child by performing the rite of circumcision on it. Although the child died a number of days after the circumcision, the court found him responsible for its death, medical evidence being produced claiming that death was directly caused by the circumcision.
