“Kid” Lewis, the famous Jewish boxer, who is standing as a candidate of the Mosley Party, is to have a straight fight in “hitechapel against Mr. Barnett Janner, the Liberal candidate, who is supporting the National Government. The Conservatives have decided not to put up a candidate against Mr. Janner. In the Whitechapel bye-election a few months ago, Mr. Janner, who is a prominent London Zionist, stood as a Liberal candidate, concentrating on the opposition to the Labour Government because of the Passfield White Paper, but the Labour candidate, Mr. Hall, was never theless elected.
