The District Court at Radom has to-day sentenced Stephan Kowalski, the ringleader of the anti-Jewish excesses which took place at Radom last June, to two years’ imprisonment; two of the participants to six months, two others to three months, and one has been acquitted.
Jewish public opinion is gratified with the severity of the sentences, believing that this will act as an effective check to any further attempts at such outrages. The Public Prosecutor is not altogether satisfied, however, and has lodged an appeal, demanding still heavier sentences for the prisoners.
