The strike committee called off at midnight the Palestine motor traffic strike which has been in progress for just over a week, since midnight last Monday week.

This step was taken following an undertaking given by the Chambers of Commerce that they will support the demands of the strikers.

The meeting of the strike committee lasted eight hours. The united Arab-Jewish front which was created in the strike is unbroken, it is stated.

The taxi and other motor-car services are being resumed at mid-day to-morrow (Wednesday).
