The Zionist Executive has issued a statement to the J.T.A. here expressing itself exceedingly pleased with the unity that has been achieved at the American Zionist Convention. The Executive notes with great satisfaction, the statement says, that conscious of the grave difficulties which confront the movement, the divergent Zionist groups have arrived at an amicable arrangement whereby American Zionism will henceforth present a united front. Now that unity has been restored, the Executive feels confident that Zionism in America will again become the powerful factor in world Zionism, that it should be, and that it has been in the past, and once more occupy the premier position in the constructive work for Palestine. It is to be hoped that the Convention at Atlanic City marks the beginning of a new era of vigorous work and energetic efforts for the advancement of Palestine and the Jewish National cause Never before was the call of the Jewish National Home so strong and the response and sacrifice of American Jewry so imperative and urgent.

In view of Mr. Emanuel Neuman’s valuable political and organisation work and achievements in the United States during the last few months, the statement adds, the Zionist Executive in London has unanimously decided to ask Mr. Neuman to remain in the States for some time to further the very important work for Palestine on which he is engaged.
