Poland’s horoscope for 1932 is a good one, the “Gazeta Warszawska”, the chief organ of the antisemitic National Democratic Party, declares in a New Year’s review today, because the stars foretell a collapse of international Jewish power, consequent on the crash of the international financial system, which has been the great mainstay of Jewry in the past. At the same time, it says, those countries in which Jews are most influential have begun to decline and with their decline the so-called humanitarian and libertarian ideas of the last century for which these countries have stood are dead or dying.
