Dr. Emanuel Neuman, the American member of the Jewish Agency Executive, has left for Washington to attend several important conferences there, the J.T.A. understands, in connection with the formation of the Presidium of the recently formed American Pro-Palestine Committee, which will consist of some of the outstanding American statesmen.
The Conferences will also lead to the establishment of branches of the Pro-Palestine Committee in various parts of the country.
The American press continues to emphasise the importance of Dr. Neuman’s work in enlisting the active interest of American statesmen in the Palestine work.
