Ex-Deputy H. Farbstein, the Polish Mizrachist leader and member of the Jewish Agency World Executive, left to-day for Palestine to take up his duties there as a member of the Palestine Executive.
A farewell banquet was given him last night by the Polish section of the Jewish Agency, the Keren Hayesod and the Mizrachi Organisation. Addresses were delivered by Chief Rabbi Professor Schorr, Rabbi Kahane, and Rabbi Gutschechter of the Warsaw Rabbinate, and Mr. Leon Levite, former President of the Polish Zionist Federation.
