A crowd of 10,000 people welcomed Dr. Weizmann on his arrival in Johannesburg to-day from Cape Town.
The station and the surrounding streets were packed with people.
The Witwatersrand University will confer an honorary doctorate of law on Dr. Weizmann. An official reception in honour of Dr. Weizmann will be given here to-morrow night. The general press in devoting a great deal of space to Dr. Weizmann’s visit to Johannesburg.
