The High Commissioner for Palestine, General Sir Arthur Wauchope, has sent a letter to the Mayor of Gaza, in reply to the demands which were submitted to him during his recent visit to the town, and in the course of this letter the High Commissioner, referring to the demand for the creation of an Agricultural Bank, says that this is being considered in conjunction with the Development Scheme, the report on which by Mr. French, the Director of Development, is now in proof.
