Death of Benjamin Schlesinger Head of Largest Jewish Trade Union in America

Benjamin Schlesinger, who was only last month reelected President of the International Ladies Garment Workers’ Union, the largest and most important Jewish trade union in America, died last night at Colorado Springs.

Mr. Schlesinger, who was 56 years of age, had suffered for years from asthma, and he had recently been very ill.

He was born in Lithuania, He had been for many years manager of the “Jewish Daily Forwards”.
