“Venkov”, the chief organ of the Republican Agrarian Party of which the Prime Minister, M. Franz Udrzal, is leader, publishes an article in which it says:
We are learning from Germany to introduce abbreviations. Nazis are National Socialists; Sozis are Social Democrats; and now we are getting the Ozis, which means “Organisation zitternder Israeliten” (Organisation of Cowering Israelites). This organisation stands between the Nazis and the Sozis, where there is certainly enough room for the members of the Chosen People to realise their all-embracing programme of neither fish nor flesh.
The “Narodni Politika, the largest daily in Prague, with a circulation of about 140,000, has published an article on Hitlerism, in the course of which it says. We are practically convinced that the Czecho-Slovakian people will go side by side with the German nation in this matter, and that the programme of the National Socialists is a humane and civilising programme.
