The concession for the water supply of Jerusalem, dating back from the Turkish regime, has now been cancelled, Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, Palestine High Commissioner informed a meeting of the Water Board yesterday.
The concession operating until now has prevented the government and the municipality from arranging for a sufficient water supply. -A loan for a full water supply has been arranged, the High Commissioner announced.
