A number of leading Jews and Jewesses are on the sponsors’ committee for the new Cosmopolitan Opera Association, recently organized in New York, under the direction of Max Rabinoff. These include Dr. Felix Adler, Dr. A. A. Brill, Mrs. Felix Fuld, Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Dorothy Gordon, Leopold Godowsky, Judge Julian W. Mack, Louis S. Posner and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg.

The plan is to produce opera intelligibly for the mass of people, at prices within their present reach, and utilizing newly developed artistic talent rather than those already widely known.
