Under a caption “The Jews are Assassins,” the anti-Semitic publication Le Miroir prints a lengthy article purporting to show that Jews kill gentile children to show that Jews kill gentile children to use their blood for ritual purposes and makes the inference that the Lindbergh baby has also been a victim of such a brutal act.
The article is full of vile accusations and many falsifications which have one tendency and that is to rouse the French Canadian population against the Jews of the Province of Quebec.
“It has been proven, without doubt, that certain Jews use Christian blood for the baking of unleavened bread. The Catholic Church has made its investigations and has found the allegations to be true. These facts can be found in the book ‘The Lives of Saints’ by the Bollandist Fathers”, says the publication and cites a chronological list of so-called ritual murders allegedly performed by Jews, and each crime, as it asserts, taking place before Passover.
If that is not enough to convince the non-believers in these mediaeval accusations this publication revives the famous Damascus blood accusation and relates that the priest, Thomas, was murdered in the house of a rich Jew so that his blood may be used for the feast of Passover. For this crime six Jews were sentenced to death, but according to this sheet, these Jews were able to buy their liberty with the aid of gold from the Rothschild coffers. The murder of Yuschinsky, for which Mendel Beilis was trialed and acquitted, was carried out, as is asserted by the paper, by the rabbis who are the chief users of Christian blood.
“The murder of a young Christian in Germany, last spring, has revived in Europe the history of the innumerable ritual crimes committed by the Israelites and it is worth noting, that in each case a child of noble birth was picked as the intended victim. The crime was always committed during the first days of March. This confirms the belief that the Lindbergh baby was also a victim of such a nefarious act on the part of the Jews. This belief is strengthened by the presence of such men as Spitale, Irving Bitz, etc. around Lindbergh,” says the publication.
The article is illustrated by a cartoon depicting a Jewish rabbi slaying a Christian child.
