Max Balaban, thirty-nine years old, one of the founders of the Balaban and Katz motion picture organization died here today at the Michael Reese Hospital following an operation on Saturday.
He is survived by his mother, his wife and two children, as well as six brothers, most of whom are officials of the Paramount and Publix organizations.
