Seventeen Rabbis and 33 students are on the roster of the Graduate Rabbinical School and the Teachers’ Institute of the Hebrew Union College, whose eighth summer school session has just begun.

The course will last until Friday, August 12th.

The Graduate Rabbinical School is designed to enable Rabbis to continue their studies through class instruction under professional guidance, and to aid those who are so minded to prepare themselves for the attainment of the degree of Doctor of Divinity.

The Teachers’ Institute offers courses of instruction for those who wish to prepare for teaching in the Reform Jewish reliigous schools and for those who wish to increase their knowledge and efficiency for the Jewish religious educational work in which they may now be engaged.

The Teachers’ Institute is thus open to Jewish religious school teachers, religious school superintendents and all others interested in Jewish education.

Thirteen scholarships were offered this season for the Teachers Institute, ten by the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, and three by Alpha Epsilon Phi Fraternity.
