Nathan Harris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vaad Hoeir, founder of the Jewish Orthodox Old Folks’ Home and many other institutions in the city, was the guest of Governor Henry Caulfield of Missouri in the Executive Mansion during the week end.

Governor Coulfield conferred with Mr. Harris about the state relief problem that is now agitating the Chief Executive.

A testimonial dinner was recently given in honor of Mr. Harris, which was attended by more than 1,000 people and at which Gov. Caulfield was the principal speaker. Mr. Harris is shortly sailing for Europe. He is identified with virtually every important Jewish movement of the city.
