Bequests to Charity in Wills Filed for Probate

Bequests in the amount of $15,300 are left to twenty institutions in the will of Leopold A. Bernheimer, of Central Valley.

Legacies of $1,000 each go to the Mount Sinai Hospital, United Hebrew Charities, the Hebrew Benevolent and Orphan Asylum.

Harvard University receives $8,000 for scholarships in the law school. Among the other beneficiaries are: The Educational Alliance; Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews; Montefiore Home for Chronic Invalids; New York Cancer Hospital; Hebrew Technical Institute.

The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropies receives $5,000 under the will of the late Edmond E. Wise.

The Hebrew Orphan Asylum receives $2,000 in Mr. Wise’s will.

A bequest of $5,000 to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies is made in the will of the late Sidney M. Sonn.
