Paul Knabenshue, American Consul General in Jerusalem, will be appointed American Minister to Baghdad, it is stated here today.
The appointment of Mr. Knabenshue is to follow the formal admission of Iraq, of which Baghdad is the capital, to the League of Nations, it is reported, which is scheduled for September.
