An excited Arab crowd today surrounded the Jewish police officer Goldman while he was arresting a Hebronite Arab for having wounded two Arabs. The injuries were inflicted by the use of a revolver and the crowd maintained that the police officer himself was the one who injured the Arabs.

British police finally dispersed the crowd and an official police communique later gave the facts as they actually occurred.
