The industrialization of the Jewish colonies in the Crimean, Kalinindorf, Odessa and Pervomaisk regions this winter will be undertaken in accordance with a decision adopted at the just concluded special conference held in Yevpatoria with the participation of representatives of the Comzet, Ort and Agrojoint.
Sixty different industrial shops will be opened in the Jewish colonies, according to the plan adopted.
Special delegates came from Moscow to represent the governmental department for settling Jews on the land and in industry as well as the two Jewish organizations.
The industrialization program is to be carried out by the Ort under the supervision of the Comzet.
The conference also heard reports on the situation in the colonies in connection with the crop.
