Other speakers included Professor Leon Brunschvieg, representing the French Government, who drew a parallel between Pascal and Spinoza, Dr. Carl Gebhardft of Frankfurt, Professor Adolfo Rava of Padua, Italy, and Dr. J. H. Carp, of The Hague.

The speakers from the various countries addressed the audience in their native tongue.
