The All Soviet Central Council of Trade Unions yesterday ordered the Ukrainian, White Russian, Crimean and Far Eastern Unions to support the anti-religious campaign inaugurated by the “Emess”.
The action of the Trade Unions Council follows complaints from the “Emess” that its campaign against the observance of the Jewish High Holydays has received no co-operation whatsoever with the exception of support from two provincial papers of no importance.
